How to add assets


Step 1: Add Asset types

(If you already have Asset types set up, skip to Step 2)


  1. Go to Admin Settings in the left side menu.
  2. Click Templates.
  3. Click Create New Asset Type **or **New Asset Type.
  4. Fill in the details. You will be able to add custom data points after saving the Asset.
  5. Click **Save. **A confirmation message will appear once the Asset type is saved.


Step 2: Add Assets

Once Asset types are set up, you can add Assets in multiple ways.


Option 1: From the left-side menu


  1. Click on the plus sign + next to Assets in the left-side Menu.
  2. Select an Asset Type.
  3. Fill in the required fields and any other relevant information. Fields can be edited after adding the Asset.
  4. Click on Save. A confirmation message will appear once the Asset type is saved.


Option 2: From Assets


  1. Click on Assets in the left-side menu.
  2. Click the + New Asset button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select an Asset Type.
  4. Fill in the required fields and any other relevant information. Fields can be edited after adding the Asset.
  5. Click on Save. A confirmation message will appear once the Asset type is saved.


Option 3: From Events


  1. Click Events in the left-side menu.
  2. Select the event you want to add assets to.
  3. Navigate to Assets in the top menu.

If no assets have been added yet:

  1. Toggle Add Guest-Owned Assets. The corresponding assets will be selected automatically.
  2. Check the boxes for any additional assets you want to include.
  3. Click Add to Event.

If the event already has assets linked:

  1. Click the Add Asset button.
  2. Select Create New or Add Existing.

If you select Create New:

  1. Choose an Asset Type.
  2. Fill in the required fields and any other relevant information. (Fields can be edited later if needed.)
  3. Click Save. A confirmation message will appear once the asset is saved.

If you select Add Existing:

  1. Check the assets you want to add to the event.
  2. Click Add to Event.


Option 4: Guest-Owned Assets


  1. Click Guests in the left-side menu.

Select the guest you want to add an asset to.

  1. Navigate to Assets in the top menu.
  2. Click Add Asset.

To create a new Asset:

  1. Select Create New Asset.
  2. Choose an Asset Type.
  3. Fill in the required fields and any other relevant information. (Fields can be edited later if needed.)
  4. Click Save. A confirmation message will appear once the asset is saved.

To assign an existing Asset:

  1. Use the Add Existing Asset search bar.

Select the Asset from your inventory.

Click Add to Guest.


Option 5: Employee-Owned Assets


  1. Click on Employees in the left-side menu.
  2. Select the Employee to whom you would like to add an asset.
  3. Click on Assets in the top menu.
  4. Select + Create New Asset to add a new asset, or click on the “Add Existing Asset” search bar to assign one from your inventory by selecting the asset and clicking on Add to Employee.
  5. To add a new asset, select an Asset Type.
  6. Fill in the required fields and any other relevant information. Fields can be edited after adding the Asset.
  7. Click on Save. A confirmation message will appear once the Asset type is saved.
