Asset check-out/in

Asset Check-out


Option 1: From Assets


  1. Click on Assets in the left-side menu.
  2. Click the person icon on the far right side of the Asset you want to check out.
  3. Select Yes, I Have a Reservation if you have one; otherwise, go to step 6.
  4. Select your reservation.
  5. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.
  6. Select No reservation if no previous reservation was made.
  7. Fill in the details.
  8. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.


Option 2: Guest-Owned Assets


  1. Click on Guests in the left-side menu.
  2. Select the Guest whose Asset you want to check out.
  3. Navigate to Assets.
  4. Click the person icon located on the far right side of the Asset you want to reserve.
  5. Select Yes, I Have a Reservation if you have one; otherwise, go to step 8.
  6. Select your reservation.
  7. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.
  8. Select No reservation if no previous reservation was made.
  9. Fill in the details.
  10. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.


Option 3: Employee-Owned Assets


  1. Click on Employees in the left-side menu.
  2. Navigate to Directory.
  3. Select the Employee whose Asset you want to check out.
  4. Go to Assets in the top menu.
  5. Click the person icon located on the far right side of the Asset you want to reserve.
  6. Select Yes, I Have a Reservation if you have one; otherwise, go to step 9.
  7. Select your reservation.
  8. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.
  9. Select No reservation if no previous reservation was made.
  10. Fill in the details.
  11. Click the Check out button. A confirmation message will appear.


Asset Check-in


Option 1: From Assets


  1. Click on Assets in the left-side menu.
  2. Click the three dots on the far right side of the Asset you want to check in.
  3. Select Check-in.
  4. Fill in the details.
  5. Click the Check in button. A confirmation message will appear.


Option 2: Guest-Owned Assets


  1. Click on Guests in the left-side menu.
  2. Select the Guest whose Asset you want to check out.
  3. Go to Assets in the top menu.
  4. Click the three dots located on the far right side of the Asset you want to check out.
  5. Fill in the details.
  6. Click the Check in button. A confirmation message will appear.


Option 3: Employee-Owned Assets


  1. Click on Employees in the left-side menu.
  2. Navigate to Directory.
  3. Select the Employee whose Asset you want to check in.
  4. Click the three dots on the far right side of the Asset you want to check in.
  5. Fill in the details.
  6. Click the Check in button. A confirmation message will appear.

Checking in fewer items than checked out


After entering fewer items than checked out, you will be prompted with two options: Expected Consumption or Damaged, Missing, etc.

Select Expected Consumption if the Asset in question is a consumable; this will eliminate those assets from the inventory.

For all other cases, use Damaged, Missing, etc. This will provide a series of options to document what occurred with the Asset(s) and even generate a task to follow up on the matter.
