How to add shifts

Option 1: From the Dashboard


  1. Click the Add new button in the top right corner of the screen or in the "Today’s Shifts" widget.
  2. Select Shift.
  3. Fill in all required fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
  4. Click Assign Shift to continue, or Save as Draft if you’d like to finish it later.
  5. Select the desired person from the list of matching employees. You can also use the search bar to find someone by name. (Only employees with the selected role will appear.)
  6. Click Publish to create the shift. (Shifts can be published even if no employees are selected.)


Option 2: From Employees


  1. Click Employees in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the Add New button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Shift.
  4. Fill in all required fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
  5. Click Assign Shift to continue, or Save as Draft if you’d like to finish it later.
  6. Select the desired person from the list of matching employees. You can also use the search bar to find someone by name. (Only employees with the selected role will appear.)
  7. Click Publish to create the Shift. (Shifts can be published even if no employees are selected.)
