# How to create menus

1. Go to the **Dots** section inside the event you want to edit. Alternatively, use the left-side menu, click **Dots**, and locate your event date.
2. Expand the activity where you would like to add a menu.

3. Click **Attach Menu**.

4. To create a new menu, click **Create New Menu**. Add a menu name and description. **Do not enter the actual menu items in the description field. *

5. Then, click **Add Dish** to start creating dishes. Click **Create New Dish**, add a name, description, and select the type of dish (**main, appetizer, entrée, dessert, or side)**. All dishes you create will be available to select across all menus.

6. If you already have menus created, simply select an existing menu.
7. To edit the selections within a menu, click **Add Dish** and update your selections as needed.
* Check the boxes to add dishes.
* Uncheck the boxes to remove dishes.
* Adjust the number of servings as needed.
8. If needed, you can remove a menu from an activity by clicking **Detach Menu**.
