# How to create event types

1. Go to **Admin Settings** in the left side menu.
2. Click **Templates.**
3. Select **Events** from the dropdown menu.
4. Click the **New Event Type **button in the top-right corner.
5. Fill in the details. You can create multiple event types and assign different colors for easier recognition.

**Examples**:
(You can assign your event any name that fits your needs, such as the client’s last name or the company name.)

Example name: Santander

Event type: Fishing Trip
Example name: Anderson's

Event type: Simulated Shoot
Example name: Smith x8
