# How to add spaces and subspaces

**Step 1: Add Space Types**
*(If you already have Space and Subspace types set up, skip to Step 3)*

1. Go to **Admin Settings** in the left side menu.
2. Click **Templates**.
3. Select** Spaces **from the dropdown menu.
4. Click **Create New Space type **or **New Space Type&#160; **.
5. Fill in the details. You can always add or edit information later.
6. Click **Save. **A confirmation message will appear once the Space type is saved.

**Step 2: Add Subspace Types**

1. Go to **Admin Settings** in the left side menu.
2. Click **Templates**.
3. Select** Spaces **from the dropdown menu.
4. Click the three dots of a Space and select **Edit**.
5. Select **Subspaces** from the top menu.
6. Click **Create New Subspace type **or **New Subspace Type**.
7. Fill in the details. You can always add or edit information later.
8. Click **Save. **A confirmation message will appear once the Subspace Type is saved.

**Step 3: Adding Spaces**
Once Space and Subspace types are set up, you can add spaces in two ways.

**Option 1: From the left-side menu**

1. Click on the **plus sign** next to **Spaces** in the left-side menu.
2. Select **Space**.
3. Select one Space type from the list. You can also start typing the name to filter the results.
4. Fill in the mandatory fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
5. Click on **Save**. A confirmation message will appear once the space is saved.

**Option 2: From Spaces**

1. Click on **Spaces** in the left-side menu.
2. Click the **New Space** button in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Select Space.
4. Select one Space type from the list. You can also start typing the name to filter the results.
5. Fill in the mandatory fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
6. Click on **Save**. A confirmation message will appear once the Space type is saved.

###### Step 4: Adding Subspaces

**Option 1: From the left-side menu**

1. Click on the **plus sign** next to **Spaces** in the left-side menu.
2. Select **Subspace.**
3. Fill in the mandatory fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
4. Click on **Save**. A confirmation message will appear once the subspace is saved.

**Option 2: From Spaces**

1. Click on **Spaces** in the left-side menu.
2. Click the **New Space** button in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Select **Subspace.**
4. Fill in the mandatory fields and any other relevant information. You can always add or edit information later.
5. Click on **Save**. A confirmation message will appear once the subspace is saved.
