# How to add custom event statuses

1. Click on the **+** sign next to **Events** in the left side menu to create a new event.
2. Open the **Event Status** dropdown menu.
3. To create a new status, click **+ Add New Status.**
4. Enter the new status and click the **+** sign to add it.

5. Click **Save & Continue.**
6. A confirmation message will appear once the changes are saved.
